"Minor injuries Nurse"

Unfortunately for both me and my six months old son we had to visit the minor injuries unit after a chain of circumstances that led to my decision to take him there as I couldn't get help ( Newton Place Surgery is closed Saturdays) where I live and baby's temperature was not going down . Receptionist was nice and helpful . What an unpleasant surprise the nurse was when me and distressed baby had to face their arrogant , patronising, bullying behaviour . Not only were they trying to 'make ' me listen to their lecture before ( and I stress on the word before) actually doing the observations on baby but there were comments of a very upsetting nature made in an exceptionally cold and unpleasant manner ( why did you choose to bring him here ) . I was interrupted every time I tried to speak and forced to listen to a monotonous repeating of 'you are not listening to me' and ' you are not understanding '. No, clearly I did not want to listen to anything and I did try to say so when my words were use to make jokes like ' oh you are choosing what to understand'. In the situation I was needing help worried about my child I did not have to put up with anybody's rude unkind attitude especially coming from a nurse that you expect to be helping .
I feel extremely let down and will not stop here in my effort to prevent things like this from happening to anybody again .
The nurse should be disciplined for what they did and the way they made me feel I will fight for that .
