"Brilliant staff and hospital"

I had my triple bypass surgery 7th September 2015.

The surgeon and all theatre staff are absolutely brilliant and skilful. Words do not do justice to their professionalism.

The Critical Care nurses were superb in their care and dedication they gave me during the early post operative time and never left my bedside. My wife was welcome in Critical Care at any time and she was always treated with respect and care with good communication.

I then went to Higginston Ward for recovery. All the staff made my stay in this ward a pleasure to be in. The nurses were always attentive and caring, nothing was too much trouble, even if it was to be helped out of bed or given a glass of water at 3 'o'clock in the morning. Communication and hand overs were excellent.

The auxiliary staff were brilliant and made even the mundane chores of changing the bed light-hearted and helped to keep patients in good spirits.

I cannot give high enough praise to everyone at Papworth Hospital, we are so lucky to have this hospital and I thank everyone for the fantastic work they do.
