About: Warrington Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Nothing, it was an horrifying experiance.

What could be improved

There was no attempt to help in any way.

Anything else?

I went to Warrington hospital with severe chest pains a high pulse rate and sweating. Ive been having chest and left arm pain for some time. They took my blood pressure after 25 minutes of waiting then told me to sit in the waiting area. I had to sit on the floor because there was no seats available and was left for over 2 hours, no tests, no ECG nothing was done to help me. After over 2 hours I decided it would be best to go home were I could lie down. I'm still suffering from chest pain and feel terrible but dont know what to do to get help. This hospital is a disgrace and soon has I'm well enough I'm going to make a formal complaint.

Thank you for your comments which we have passed on to the A&E department. All patients are checked on arrival and then assessed as to the urgency of their condition. It is very rare that there are no seats in the department for waiting as there are several seating areas, but the department can of course get busy at particular times so we are sorry if this was the case.
