"Very bad - go elsewhere"

About: St Mary's Hospital (HQ) (London)

The care in the maternity triage unit is terrible. Women pouring out the doors, wait time over 4/5 hours to be seen by a specialty doctor in obstetrics who even after that time won't bother to come and see you.

Midwives extremely rude, uncaring and patronising. A disaster waiting to happen. Really really awful and worryingly bad maternity care. I'm really scared now about my health and the health of my unborn baby.

I wish I had never booked here.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust wishes to apologise for the experience you have had whilst attending the maternity triage unit at St Mary's hospital.

Your feedback has been passed to senior managers within the Trust and they are very concerned about your comments.

They would like the opportunity to investigate further through Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS).

We would encourage you to contact PALS on pals@imperial.nhs.uk to discuss this matter further.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments.
