"Thurland Ward August Community Meeting"

About: Forensic mental health / Low secure services

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Patients on Thurland ward were asked for their feedback on the service at an August Community meeting they expressed the following issues

• The TV control box is kept in the Nursing office which is at the other end of the ward to the TV itself. This makes it frustrating when doing something as simple as changing channels. We would like this addressing please.

• We would like new duvet covers please and new laundry bags, the current ones are getting tatty.

• Please also let us know about any upcoming trips or outings.

The sky box has now been moved and can now be controlled from the TV

The ward Secretary is currently pricing up the duvet order so currently in process

We have purchased some laundry baskets for you – please ask if you need one.

There is a trip to the sea-life center and Birmingham Bullring shopping in September.
