"My stay on 15B"

I would just like to say what an extremely well run ward 15B is. I was admitted in the early hours of 4th September 2015 feeling very frightened and unwell. I was discharged feeling much better after the evening meal on the 7th September 2015.

The staff were all fantastic oh except for that one grumpy auxiliary (but I don't think any group of people could rate 100%)

I was kept fully informed of everything that was happening and constantly reassured things would get better. I felt that nothing was too much trouble for them and so felt confident to ask any questions I needed to.

The ward was spotless and anything that became out of place was quickly and efficiently tidied/cleaned, this was not just left to the cleaning staff who came around diligently but all staff would pitch in to keep it tidy.

The food, Mmmmmm very much improved from my last stay some years earlier. except for the creamed potatoes nah, nothing creamed about those in fact although they looked like potatoes they certainly did not taste like a potato of any description.

The last thing I would like to mention is the cost of the TV (no stars for this) I would not care how much money I had this cost is extortionate, I can understand a charge if you required sky sports or film channels but the main five channels. I found this absolutely ridiculous especially as you pay for 24 hours and you can not pause your time whilst asleep or away having tests.

All in all a very well run ward and any wards who are not hitting standards should work a day on 15B to see how it should be done.
