I had to have a biopsy at the above hospital in june this year, and OH my god i was so frightened, as i walking to the thearta i thought i was going to the basement,infact i was, it was so dirty, i felt as if i was in a cattle que sitting waiting on a chair not one person spoke to us and we were scared. the paint work was peeling off never again do i want to go to that hospital i refuse to go,i was in before last september for surgery and found the staff very rude and didnt seem to care and didnt have time for patients

What could be improved

close the thearta down and make the hospital a place were you feel you are welcome as one is frightend enough,and in staff training ensure the staff have more empathy with patients

Anything else?

yes get cleaning staff to clean properley,get permanant cleaning staff for each ward a team that works on the same ward each week, to ensure cleanlness,
