"Chest pain clinic"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

Very good service provided. Referral to appointment was swift - they even phoned with an earlier appointment than planned as they had a space. Waiting area was clean and comfortable, drinks and snacks available as was cold water. Plenty of seating and not too crowded. Magazines were seriously out of date but in good repair. Sister was excellent, polite and supportive without being patronising. All staff used title and surname. Consultant listened and explained in equal measures and was very happy to discuss options. Really liked the check in system in the main foyer which gave directions to the clinic and plenty of volunteers to help those who needed assistance. Liked the laminated cards telling people to ask if they had been waiting more than 20minutes. Plenty of parking spaces and a Costa as a bonus. Excellent overall experience.
