"in patient at Scarborough General"

i am a little late in posting this review but would like to thank the staff at Scarborough hospital especially the doctor and their team and the staff on Lilac Ward and Aspen ward for the care they gave me during a recent holiday in Yorkshire which ended up with me having emergency surgery at the hospital, without the care and attention I received I feel I may not be here to write this review so a massive thank you to each and everyone of you. If I did have to make any criticism it would only be regarding the food, when I was able to eat I had high expectations after watching the series with James Martin helping to change things I am sorry to say the first meal I had consisted of a Ham sandwich cut in half and in a plastic container that looked as if it had been purchased from a petrol station not even on a plate and desert described as fruit ( something nice and refreshing I thought ) was an orange slightly green not peeled but again just put on table no knife to cut it or help peel it , the

Second meal was baked potato a little salad as garnish maybe no just a baked potato on a plate. So unappealing not something to tempt anyone to start eating . I do not expect 5 star gourmet meals but just a little thought on presentation as we eat with our eyes first .
