"Nothing"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Nothing

What could be improved

Eveything

Anything else?

I went to Burnley hospital (after having a stillbirth 2 days earlier) with a suspected blood clot on my lungs. I was transferred to Blackburn hospital. I was given a bed at about 11pm and was only seen once during the night (although suffering with breathing problems). At 6am I was told to get out of my bed and wait in a ward that was just full of chairs I was given nothing but a sandwich all day and was made to sit in a chair until 7pm that night. It was very uncomfortable sitting all day from only giving birth two days earlier and the room got very busy which was overwhelmig as I was still very upset. The nurses showed no compasion at all and looked like they were walking round like headless chickens most of the time. The hospital is a sham and Burnley needs its facilities back so we don't need to go over there.
