"Waiting Time from insertion eye drops"

About: Watford General Hospital

On arrival at the hospital at 3pm Fri 4.9.2015 and self reception touch screen, was called forward by triage nurse who spent some considerable time inquiring where I lived. It was very annoying as without going into detail I am 73yrs old and through no fault of my own am currently homeless of no fixed abode. But having accepted I was not in a good place mentally as I also suffer from severe anxiety, we shook hands and I was duely called to have the drops insert prior to receiving laser treatment started at Milton Keynes Uni Eye Department on 4 June 2015, to be continued by arrangment of Watford GP due to current homeless situation it was agreed Watford General should complete the treatment. Having inserted drops 2.5hrs later I had not been seen and at precisely 5/30pm I left the department to head back to Luton Travel Lodge where I am temporarily accommodated. 11hrs on my feet for a 73yr old man who is high risk category 5 and Poditry. No one came to opoligise and no one informed me as to when I might be seen in fact there no visible staff in the departmentt when I left. Because the way I was treated I shall not return but wait until I get allocated new accommodation in MK. Peter G Dancey
