"Lack of sensible contact choice"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

It would be good to be able to contact your consultant or their secretary. I have issues with the consultants report, "no significant arthralgia or early morning stiffness". Were they speaking to someone else when I turned my back because I never said that, that's one of my main problems especially having arthritis in my left shoulder and 6 previous lower back disc prolapses.

Yet another. "able to continue his exercise in the gym comfortably"

I have a heart condition and a defibrillator, which gym do they think might take me on. I don't go to the gym.

It would be nice for people to listen and you could contact them when there are errors.

Thank you for your feedback and sincere apologies for the length of time it has taken to respond. Due to the volume of patients in clinic, it is not always possible for the Consultants to be contacted directly but we encourage patients to make contact through the secretaries. This can be done either via telephone on 0161 276 64626 or through the internet page http://www.cmft.nhs.uk/royal-infirmary/our-services/rheumatology

Please be assured that the issues you have detailed have been taken seriously and shared with the department involved, who have informed me they have taken appropriate action to deal with your concerns regarding the Consultant’s report.
