"Do not use this hospital"

About: Whipps Cross University Hospital

After having a small rectum operation done in March 2015 they were supposed to book me a follow up appointment for 6 weeks after, 2 months went bye and nothing then I started ringing them leaving messages and nothing sixmonths later of continual phone calls (and having to put a complaint in about being on a phone for hours trying to get the right department and being put through to every other department, the findings of the complaint department was something wrong just on that day) Rubbish.

So six months later I eventually get someone to book me a appointment not for my follow up but for a reexamination I get there at 6.45am after fasting since the day before go through to pre surgery waiting area get prodded and rectum area cleaned out for five hours later to have the surgeon come to me and tell me they have no paperwork and have to cancel the operation (I was not the only one to be told after all that time it was cancelled)

So all in all what was a embarrassing operation to start with was made worse by incompetent staff not booking follow up appointments incompetent receptionists not knowing what phone line the plane tree department was on even thou it's a busy department and incompetent staff not passing on information when messages left.

No wonder this hospital has an awfull reputation
