"Kindness and support helped me fully recover"

About: Ailsa Hospital / Elderly Community Mental Health Service University Hospital Ayr / General Medicine

(as the patient),

I feel I was fortunate to be found in time and looked after in Ayr hospital till I was well enough to be transferred to Ailsa “Croy house” where I was for 6 months, all the nurses and Drs were kind and supportive to me and where I made a complete recovery.

On my return home before Christmas 2013 I still had very good support from CPN nurse and speech help. Following that if I needed help, I only had to make a phone call. This was also a comfort to me.

I thank you all, Drs, Nurses and staff.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.
