today i was unfortunate enough to need a procedure at the endoscopy suite. imagine my dissapointment when i found out that my appointment time was only the assessment time, and the procedure would be performed some time between 2.00pm and 18.00 pm ( my assessment time was 1.30pm) the hospital must make sure that this is clearly stated on appointment letters. i was called after 2 hours and 40 minutes, no explanation of the delay, and no one offered any information. this is unacceptable. my wife attended the same unit some months ago suffered similar delay, and lack of information she was was wholly disapointed with her treatment during her procedure. so much so that she stated when i collected her, " i will never come here again"

well i'm now saying the same thing. had i been offered choose and book rotherham hospital would not have been any of my choices. i will make sure i am offered choose and book next time or i will refuse treatment
