Recently I was an inpatient at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. I was very pleased with the way I was treated. The nurses on Ward 301 introduced themselves and after getting some paperwork done I was given a welcome jug of water (just like every patient on the ward - refilled on a regular basis).
The meals I was given were good, well cooked. I really liked getting the chance of a supper. Plenty tea/coffee through out the day as well.
I got my hand tested the next morning and the nurse was really good at her job. My operation went without a hitch and I was impressed with the attention to detail of the people carrying out the operation re keeping my arm sterile. The only thing I would like to have seen was name badges - is there a health reason why they aren't used? I forgot the name of the first nurse almost as soon as he said it and looked in vain for a name badge.
