My operation was the removal of a cancerous kidney and renal vein combined with a procedure on a ventricle of my heart.
From the initial diagnosis at Barnsley General through the initial consultation at the Hallamshire to the surgery at the Northern General. The consultants were superb. They and their team kept me informed all the way and were very reassuring. After the operation the staff and nurses in the ITU and Chesterman ward were equally lovely and efficient.
I cannot praise them enough.
