I am absolutely disgusted with the reception in the A&E today 27/08/2015.
I went in because I've been having problems with my stomach and can't keep my food down for almost a week. I also told them I have inflamed skin and it's very itchy which I though could have been caused by the fact I've been unwell. That seemed to be all they heard as they told me straight away they won't be booking me in for skin rash. I said I have stomach problems and they said 'What problems?' I said I can't keep my food down they said 'You are not vomiting are you? No.' I said no but I've been going loo all the time. They said no they won't be booking me in and to go to my GP. Shouting in the front of people humiliating me when disregarding the fact that I need medical attention. I left the A&E in tears. People in the queue behind me were looking at me.
Absolutely appalling to call themselves a nurse. They are not worthy being even on reception let alone nursing. They send me packing after I told them I haven't eaten properly for a week and thought that was ok.
Disgusting attitude belittling people who are unwell.
"Rude reception staff refused to book me in"
