"Still top of the pops!"

About: King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill)

All the major London teaching hospitals are in a class of thir own but King's College still, in my view, leads the pack not only in terms of the quality of medical, nursing and other support staff but also in terms of equipment and overall capability.

I was recently in ITU & HDU where I was nursed on a virtual one to one basis, the quality of nursing was simply excellent as was the supports from the consultants and doctors.

The only negative in my view was the food much of which was inedible, first time I have ever had a frozen ham sandwich!

Many thanks for taking the time to write to us about you recent experience as a patient in King's ITU and HDU.

It is always heartening to know when we get things right and we will ensure that the team receive your comments.

Apologies however for the frozen sandwich and the quality of the food. We do review menues annually across the trust but, no excuse for a frozen sandwich.
