The changes which have been made for the A&E department there are good and bad points, for example the privacy of seeing a doctor or nurse in A&E before the place was refurbished had more privacy when being seen by a doctor or nurse as they had curtains to pull round to prevent disrespecting the privacy of patient from being seen by members of the public when being looked after, but now since the refurbishment of the department within the new system, the rooms which patients are called into now for when being seen by a nurse or doctor, the doors have windows upon them which does not provide privacy for a patient to be provided the appropriate respect when being seen because members of the public in the waiting room can now see whats going on upon a patient when they are being seen to in the rooms.
The nurse or doctor did not even think about the consideration or privacy for the respect of a patient because members of the public in the waiting room can see whats going on with a patient when being attened to by a nurse or doctor and so members of the public and other patients waiting can see what is going on with a patient which is disrespectful and embarrassing for the patient.
The only way to provide more respect for patiences privacy should be that the nurse or doctor should know better that to close the shutters of the window when they have a patient in to respect the patient or to have the windows in the
Because of the way the privacy had gone down hill and got worse in the new change because from recent experience the nurse or doctor who I saw did not even consider about any privacy for the customers needs so members of the public waiting in the room could partly see whats going on with a patient which is dis respectful, specailly when they have to take an item of clothing off.
Those windows on the doors of the rooms where patients are seen should be blocked up and removed or alternative the doctors and nurses should sutomatically know better that to close them when they have a patient in there,
They did not have this problem disrespecting patients privacy when they were using curtains before as in the old way before, they should be reducing on the patients privacy by putting windows up on the doors to the room where a patient is meant to be seen by a doctor or nurse priavately and not vissibility for patients in the waiting room to be perving at because that is just embarrassing for the patient and disresepctful when the privacy is not there as much as it use to be when they had curtains up before in the old department. They should provide the same respect in the new system as well just as they did in the old system, but they seem to have gone down hill quite a bit in that department dis respecting patients privacy. They should not be sticking windows in the doors of the rooms where a patient is seen making easy access for customers to perve at seeing whats going on because that is disgusting and embarassing for the patient.
