I have recently called 111, as my arthritis was getting unbearable. The person on the phone was lovely and although I was feeling anxious before calling them, they made me feel comfortable. They managed to book an appoint with my local GP for the next day despite the fact that there was only one appointment left. I am very pleased with the service.
