"maternity / delivery of 1st baby"

About: Pinderfields General Hospital / Maternity care

Went it to be induced on 'gate 18' left for quite literally hours waiting to see anyone, once given birth in the delivery suite (all staff there excellent) returned to gate 18 and pretty much left for a good 12 hours not knowing anything. In a room with 3 other new mums & baby's. How anyone's supposed to get rest after childbirth with that set up I don't know. Curtains unfortunately arnt sound proof! !

Poor communication on gate 18 and poor set up generally.
