So. Okay, fine I was seen quite quickly in the surgical assessment unit and the surgery was quick and pain free. Now let me tell you what happened afterwards. I was neglected. The nurses were so nice to me on the ward but being nice isn't gonna get me home is it? I was promised to go home on the evening of the surgery. Was I? No. No I was not. Okay fine, I was told the morning. The morning came, did I go home? You guessed it. No, no I did not. So then I was told I was definitely going to be seen later on that day. Was I? No, no I was not. The nurses were left to tell me that I'm spending another night in the ward. Ok, fine. I dealt with it. The room is so warm and stuffy, the water given was really warm and it was horrible. So my second night, i struggled to sleep. Finally, I managed to sleep and then the doctors after making me wait 48 hours had the audacity to storm in, there was a good 6 of them and the consultant literally said my name and started to talk at me. Like hold on. I have just woken up. Give me a chance to catch my breathe. I didn't catch half the conversation, I was literally shouted at. And then they stormed off? And it's been hours, nurses haven't come to see me and I'm left here wondering where did it all go wrong? Sort it out. Thanks.
