While the Hospital and staff are all perfectly 'nice', there has been a systematic failure in effectively providing long-term treatment. A cycle of sectioning/release/incident/sectioning has continued for years with lackluster hospital treatment and community care, no-one takes responsibility for the dereliction of duty each time.
I don't require a cut and paste response to 'come in for a chat', the buck just gets passed without anyone ever taking direct responsibility or making long-term changes, there have been and will continue to be plenty of discussions. This message is written for the benefit of patients/families to know what to expect from St Ann's and the Dorset CMHT, and hopefully for some changes to be made via pressure that we can provide.
