About: Lister Hospital

I waited today in the endoscopy unit @ lister (my appt was 2.30) until 3.50 before I was called for my procedure.

The reception staff did not attempt to explain this, in my opinion, unacceptable waiting time, I had to approach them myself.

I braced myself for perhaps some delay but by the time my name was called I was very anxious & my blood pressure when monitored had shot up ! The nurse who took my details before the cystoscopy began had a very strong accent & her English was not clear to me.

surely there could be better liason between reception staff/nurses in this unit to reduce waiting time levels please !
