"Poor wait times, waste of money"

About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

Poor waiting times when department seems not to be busy with many patients. You present at Rake Lane your child is not even seen or triaged and sent to the wonderful new Cramlington Hospital. Spent over 4 hours there to be informed has a bug then next day had operation for our son at RVI who are an excellent trust. In fact we have had regular follow ups the last few weeks with the same consultant at the RVI.

Stay well away from Cramlington in fact it's to far away anyway for most patients to travel to. Also what a huge expensive for the tax payer. We will certifiably not be using any of Northumbrias services again and neither will our family members.

Thank you for this. I really want to respond to your feedback, but it's very difficult for me to do this in the way that I would like to when your review remains anonymous ?

It's clear that you feel you have good reason to be frustrated with both the building of the new hospital and the care that is being provided there - I would love to listen to what you have to tell me and to understand all of your concerns.

If, for example, you believe that we missed a diagnosis when examining your son then it is essential that we investigate this properly, to learn and ensure that we don't compromise on patient safety . Without any further details I can't gain access to your son's records or speak to staff to understand what happened that day ?
