"Coronary Care Unit and A&E"

About: Queen's Hospital, Burton Upon Trent

Family member recently needed emergency treatment. Was very very pleased with the kindness, calmness and compassion from staff at a and e resuscitation room. Made us all feel calmer, like they cared and was willing to engage in general chit chat while working and waiting for admission to ward, this, again showing compassion and normality and warmth. The same can be said about the communication, compassion and care from all staff on the coronary care unit next to ward 6. Were very thorough in treating and diagnosing the condition, explained things well including the follow up treatment. Absolutely nothing to complain about except a mess up with not explaining that family member would need a pregnancy scan before needing scan which ended up in an unnesicary wait. Thanks.
