"pity that my appointment was wasted"

About: The Princess Royal Hospital / X-ray and Scans

(as the patient),

When I arrived for my appointment at the princess royal (for a MRI liver with contrast) I was told that I did not fit into the machine as the padding that was added did not allow for a 10cm gap. I have had an MRI scan before where the padding was not required.

I was told to keep the appointment with the doctor will decide on what next to do later that month.

I am not complaining but it is a pity that my appointment was wasted and that somebody else could have benefited.
