"I lived quite far from Calow so ..."

About: Chesterfield Royal Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I lived quite far from Calow so when i went in with contractions, rather than sending me home they gave me a labour room, ran me a bath and left me to get some sleep but kept checking in on me. Id say that everything that was done in order for my daughter to be delivered safely after a 20 hour labour couldnt have been better. I cannot complain about anything - just the food. The midwifes on the ward were lovely, couldnt help me enough.

What could be improved

Id say the hospital is just a little dated but its being done up anyway.

Anything else?

Just a thank you to everyone i guess who bought my daughter into this world safe and sound. Again, thank you.

We are delighted to hear that you had such a good experience at the new birth centre. Thank you for taking the time to comment and best wishes to you and your daughter. Sarah Turner-Saint, Head of Communications
