It cannot be easy to explain to any individual that they are at risk of cancer. In my case this was done both professionally and considerately and this approach was maintained throughout the entire process from admin to procedure to post-op care.

In addition, when appropriate, informal communication was friendly and not without humour. Nothing was too onerous for the staff. There was always encouragement towards helping ourselves in the recovery process.

I was and remain most impressed by the standard of care.
