"GP didn't know what he was doing and I was naive"

About: NHS Brighton and Hove CCG

(as the patient),

I visted a GP at this Norwich surgery a number of times for anxiety and vertigo. I then developed double vision and visited the GP surgery again (constant horizontal double vision). I asked the GP to refer me to a specialist as I was concerned about my symptoms and so were my parents. He referred me choose and book non urgent to the hospital and he failed to write double vision and anxiety on my referral letter to the hospital. I got to see a registrar 17 days after this. It should of been same day referral to A&E or neurology at the hospital. I have complained to the surgery, NHS England and other agencies. My care was horrific and I was naive to think this GP would do the best for me.
