Everyone tells you different things, everyone says that they are the ones telling you the truth when the next person gives contradicting advise. 5 Hours waiting for an MRI and no one told us we couldnt wear metal. Scan was delayed as the nurses forgot to call a porter then they are arguing as to who shouldve ordered one. Then they cant find a porter and we are not allowed to go down one floor wothout a porter. Then due to all the confusions and delays it gets cancelled. Next day the machine is broken so cancelled again. This is for an emergency scan looking for a tumour for an 11 month old baby. We were told we needed the MRI on a saturday and eventually had the scan on Thursday, only as we went down official complaints channel. Do not bother complaining to Barnet PALS as although their policy is to respond by the end of the next working day, they cannot managae this, I imagine this is due to the volume of complaints they must have. Do not go here! Also we were refused referral to another hospital so had no choice but to put up with the poor service
