"A brilliant hospital"

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital

Due to a badly broken ankle, I have just had to spend three weeks in QEQM - two weeks in Sea bathing Ward and one week in Quex Ward. That was of course after initial treatment in A and E. In all instances I was treated absolutely superbly by all members of staff everywhere and have nothing but praise for all of them and the hospital in general. There is so much said and complained about when discussing hospitals and I accept that not all goes well in all cases. That was not the case with me. After being back home now for a week, I even had a phone call from Quex Ward to see how I was getting on. Absolutely amazing. I now tell people - and I mean it - I could not have been treated better if I had paid.

Thank you all so much for your caring attitude and dedication. Well done QEQM and carry on with the good work.

So sorry to hear about your broken ankle - it must have been very painful.

Very pleased to hear about the care that you have had at QEQM - all the way through the process.

Thank you very much for your kind comments.

I hope that the ankle is mending well.
