"incompetence from two departments"

About: Newham General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics Newham General Hospital / X-ray and Scans

(as the patient),

xray - despite pointing out an obvious lump on the sternum side of my clavicle, the shoulder side of my clavicle was x-rayed. I am a locum worker in full time employment and paid by the hour in addition to being managed by a person who frowns upon taking time off. I feel as the mistake is yours, you should offer me an x-ray appointment outside of working hours.

if due to your error, I suffer any adverse health effects, I will not hesitate to hold your organisation responsible.

orthopaedic - I waited five weeks for an appointment to review my ankle and hip. Today when I contacted this department they claim they have not received the referral. My GP surgery claims they faxed the referral on the day and they have a fax confirmation attached to the referral! I have refused to attend your hospital anymore as so far the level of incompetence has led me to conclude that being treated by your hospital would be dangerous. This will lead to a longer waiting for treatment time for me. This is not acceptable so I suggest contacting the Royal London hospital orthopaedic clinic and negotiating a much earlier appointment than the 41. 5 days they suggest is the average waiting time.
