What I liked

Car park discount for visitors who need to come to the hospital regularly.

What could be improved

As a recent first-time visitor to the new Hospital, I was impressed by the overall facility, however there are some easy-fix things that need attention. The Hospicom system is a great disappointment, much of the functionality does not work, and there is no indication that this is likely to be rectified. The patient I've been visiting would benefit from this system, when will it be fixed? The water dispenser in the Stroke ward 410 has a notice saying that the fault has been reported for action, dated weeks ago - how long can it take to find a plumber for a minor fix?

The road layout at the entrance to the hospital from Uttoxeter road is an accident waiting to happen, two approaches are shown by the road markings that they have right of way. The carpark attendant told me that he agreed, and that he thinks it will be fixed in the 'next few months'. This should not be acceptable, and requires prioritisation before A&E have some extra customers. It's a great asset for Derby to have this building- but some first-line Facilities Management seems absent
