"Ward 30 & Endoscopy"

I am currently on ward 30 and I'd just like to say how amazing the staff are on this ward. I've been on quite a few different ones lately and all haven't been as good! I was on Edoscopy the other week and that was brilliant, the staff are so friendly and helpful and the level of cleanliness was great! I witnessed 3 nurses trying to make an elderly patient feel at ease, the patient was clearly very nervous and they had all the time in the world. Ward 30 I'd like to comment on the cleanliness in particular. The cleaner here is so thorough. When I first came in the cleaner was wiping the doors and door frames every inch of them. The ward is so clean. Then a patient was discharged and the cleaner took the mattress off and cleaned every inch of the bed underneath as well as the bits that couldn't be seen. The table that goes over the bed was even on the floor upside down, the cleaner cleaning everywhere. This is important to me as it made me feel so much more relaxed about my stay in hospital. I hate dirt and germs etc. there certainly isn't any on this ward! They need praising for the level of care they all give despite being rushed off their feet! Thank you!
