"Excellent care throughout labour, birth and..."

We went to Hillingdon hospital for the birth of our dear son - and the care throughout the labor, birth & post-birth was excellent. Of particular note was the unbelievably attentive care of the midwife who was supportive throughout their entire shift, from 7am to 7pm, and stayed professional, focused and kind-hearted for the entire time. The midwife kept us reassured through the entire labour, listening to and addressing our concerns as they arose, and taking extra care with stitching the tears - even though it meant them finishing their shift over an hour and a half later than they should have! Overall, our experiences throughout the birth (Labour, birth and post-recovery) were very good with kind, caring staff, plenty of attention, good facilities, but it was the superb 1:1 midwife attention from our midwife that made our experiences there truly excellent.
