"Nurse training"

About: Luton & Dunstable Hospital

It would be helpful if nurses were reminded, on a regular basis, the need for ensuring that after mopping up spills they change their rubber gloves immediately. I witnessed a nurse failing to do this. Indeed, I had to remind the nurse as they proceeded to adjust my sister's tubes wearing the same gloves. On another occasion the nurse popped a pill in my sister's mouth wearing rubber gloves. This is not a complaint, just observations to avoid infections etc.
