"Exemplary hospital"

This hospital is a real centre of excellence. Not just because of the specialist skills available, but because of the way it is run. I cannot commend it enough. Every point of contact was positive- from ample inexpensive parking, helpful pleasant reception, efficient friendly out patient team, and eventually to the very caring, patient focused theatre and recovery team. I have regrettably experienced some very disinterested NHS staff in the past, more interested in discussing with each other what they did last night than considering the patient in their care. I can honestly say that there was not a single trace of such detached, disinterested care. Every single person involved with my care made me feel important to them and took real professional pride to make the whole experience as positive as a hospital stay can be. There is clearly I high level of motivation amongst all staff and it is evident in everything they do. Such a high level of professionalism is clearly a credit to the individuals concerned, but I think the hospital management have clearly established a culture in which professionalism and a very patient focused approach to care, thrives. They are to be congratulated. My heartfelt thanks to the doctor and all the team that took care of me on the 7/8th August. This is how the NHS should be. Thank you.
