"long waits to be seen"

About: Leighton Hospital

I discovered a mole had changed last year and received an appointment for January. I was told I would need a 3 month check up. After 5 months I had not heard anything and chased appointment. On this occasion I recieved an appointment for the next week, which I assume must have been a cancellation due to lack of notice. I was unable to make the appointment due to a having prior arrangements and juggling a newborn baby . I called up hoping to rearrange appointment, I was told that I would be put back on waiting list. 8 months later and I am still no further forward. I have rang a few more times but have been unable to reach someone. I find this level of service alarming , as if something was wrong, I feel it would be missed.
