"Long waiting times"

About: Trowbridge Community Hospital

Attended the Trowbridge MIU a few months ago after slicing my finger. The first visit was on a Saturday afternoon, I found the receptionist was a little bit off handed, but efficient. Told to take a seat in the waiting room and sat there for a good couple of hours watching people with more serious issues than mine get treated and sent on their way. When my turn came I couldn't fault the nursing staff, very friendly, very efficient. I had to go back on Sunday to get the wound re-dressed and once again I waited several hours to get seen. I have nothing but praise and admiration for the staff who certainly earn their money. The one criticism concerns the car parking - which despite the fact that it's now a pay car park still seemed to be full to capacity. The system of having to key in your car registration before attending reception is unacceptable,as people "in the know" could pop in, register their car and then leave it there and go do whatever they want to do. Why can't the process of registering a vehicle be done at reception when a patients details are taken?
