"great hospital with excellent staff"

About: William Harvey Hospital

I managed to break my back and spent 8 days in the hospital, from the moment I arrived through to my discharge I was totally impressed with the hospital and in particular the staff, I have never come across such a caring bunch of individuals, they are under a lot of stress from either difficult patients some of whom I found to be quite offensive or just the shear number of patients on the wards each with their individual needs and yet all of the way through the staff still treated me with dignity and kept a smile on their faces. I cannot praise the staff enough and I tend to write in too.

Response from William Harvey Hospital

So sorry to learn about your injury and hope that all goes well with your recovery. Thank you for letting us know about the experience you had while you were an inpatient. It's good to hear that the staff cared for you in such a caring, cheerful manner. As you rightly say, it is a shame that other patients are not so appreciative. Thank you for saying that you will write in - that way we can make sure the relevant staff members are praised.
