"Pelvic ultasound"

About: University Hospital Of North Durham

I attended for a pelvic ultrasound, not the best start as the visitors car park was full and cars were waiting for spaces. The car in front of me stopped at the barrier to wait, I could see the parking attendant at the exit barrier gesticulating to me telling me to move, the car in front of me wasn't moving so I waited. The parking attended walked across and gave the car in front a ticket to get through the barrier, they then said to me "you could have told him and blasted your horn at him" . I thought this was very rude and I would not have sounded my horn at him. I attended for my appointment and had a short wait, when I was called in the Doctor barely looked up from their computer screen, never told me their name and I felt like a slab of meat. There was no conversation and absolutely no eye contact, the procedure was carried out, I was told results would be sent to my GP and left. I work within the NHS and appreciate time constraints but I would. not recommend this hospital and have chosen a different hospital for further investigations which I need.
