"Great care "

About: Warwick Hospital

(as the patient),

I am only sorry I haven't contacted you before now to show my absolute admiration and extreme gratefulness for the young women who were on duty in the 48 hour ward on the night of Thursday 3rd May 2007.

My mother-in-law was brought into your hospital in late April suffering with ?? bowel blockage.....my husband and I were called to Warwick from Woking where we live, to see her, by his sister, who thought her mother was about to pass away. I do still pray that this release to peace is not too far away for her.

Having lived in South Africa for the past 30 years the standard of nursing and care was something I have NEVER seen before. We arrived at about 10pm and those young women (all of them without exception) were amazing to the extreme, nothing was too much trouble. I appreciate they may have been the "late shift" and only been at work a few hours, but the ward was fairly busy and they still had time to offer ALL of us, tea !! I was staggered and impressed beyond belief. I have come to realize Warwich General Hospital for the most part is a caring facility and well worth mentioning to anyone who is listening. My poor mother-in-law is still hanging in there and now in Beaumont Ward where she still receives caring and concern. My sister-in-law is treated as one of the family now as she is there every day. I cannot say thank you enough, nor praise those first young woman all those weeks back, enough.

I pray this message gets to the attention of a senior staff member who is able to pass on our sentiments where I know they will be greatly appreciated by the staff concerned. Wishing you years more of brilliant community service, peace and protection.

Sincerely,

GB
