My wife was suffering with dilopia and this adversely affected all of her day to day living. She could not drive, watch TV, or even go shopping safely. After attending several clinics at New Cross Hospital over some months, she was informed by the ophthalmologist that nothing could be done, save that she wear a patch over one eye! Since then she has been seen by a local optician, new lenses have been provided and she now has complete symptomatic relief; her life has been transformed. The experience at New Cross was unacceptable, the surgeon was singularly uncommunacative. Relief, if not a cure, was available which, for all their resouces, they could not provide and had we not persisted elsewhere my wife would have been a virtual invalid.
"Poor diagnostics and poor resultant treatment"
