This doctor was the first after seeing so many specialist at different hospitals who actually took the time to listen and show empathy to my situation. They were thorough in everything they did and instilled confidence every step of the process. The staff were lovely and ensured I was well looked after after I had the operation. The doctor visited every day after the operation explaining how it had gone and the do's and dont's after having this procedure. The room I stayed in was clean and spacious with an on suite and the food served was lovely with good choice. There was a menu for visitors to order also which was well priced. They ensured I had adequate medication on my discharge and details of everything I needed including sick note for work and next appointment details. The doctor I am told by every member of staff is retiring and they are all so sad the doctor is leaving and I can see why, such a good person who believes in treating each person as an individual who needs their care with a big smile on their face. A member of staff who was on the night shift made sure that I was ok at all times and took me down the corridor for a walk to get the blood flowing they were great, as were the other members of staff, they were outstanding at their jobs. So massive thank you to the team at spire who have given me my life back and looked after me so well.
