What I liked
The nurses, , Drs in fact eveveryone was wonderful. The care was second to none and always treated with dignity and respect. I watched as the nurses washed each bed underneath every time they changed the sheets or a new patient came in. All staff used the hand wash after each patient. The were so friendly which made the experience a little better to bear.
What could be improved
The food. This left a lot to be desired. The sandwiches were dry and hard. The bread had mould on it . The jacket potatoes werent cooked. Puddings were nice though. Menu is not very good for patients who need all the right vitamins etc to aid recovery. Did compain on the ward.
Anything else?
Excellent nurses I think it was because they were all senior nursed and it showed with the care they administered. Linlcoln Ward is definately the best in the entire hopsital for care.
I have been on a few wards over the past few years with family as well.
