"A & E"

Visited A & E last night with my son who had an open cut on his hand waited over 3 hours just to be assessed! Then when finally got assessed was sent to another room to wait for 5 hours. Un believable and totally unacceptable why does it take so long I am also shocked that a 18+ movie was being shown on the TV in the reception area sex, bad language , violence is that good practise when all we hear about is the unacceptable behaviour of patients towards nhs staff. It's no wonder really is it I'm not surprised that visitors get angry when it's being shown as normal behaviour the reception area was dirty and untidy with very uncomfortable seats which needs to be addressed if your waiting times are so bad Can I also suggest that the fall out of the closure of Cannock and Stafford hospitals is only going to make matters worse I dread to think what would have happened if we couldn't drive I am extremely disappointedand will take my options further in the vain hope of the nhs returning to its once high standard service
