"Discrimination against non-smokers"

About: Cambian - Oaks Hospital

(as the patient),

Cambian Oaks expends considerable resources facilitating and enabling patients to smoke but does practically nothing to support people who don't smoke.

Requests to keep smoke out of the hospital have been ignored.

A formal complaint has led to little or no identifiable change.

I have to passively smoke whilst a patient here. Smoke routinely comes into my bedroom morning and night as well as being heavy in the air in the communal areas.

There is no smoking policy. Patient have the right to smoke themselves into an early grave and to to supported in doing so. Patient do not have the right to not passively smoke. This is disgraceful.

I feel Cambian are failing in their duty of care to me by not ensuring a safe and smoke free environment for me in the hospital.
