"Left arm from the right..."

I was taken to the hospital after I was hit by a speeding white van. My right wrist was clearly dislocated and I was limping badly from hitting the road. I limped to my place of work and from there my boss called my dad who drove me to the front door of A&E. To be fair I was through Triage and onto the A&E ward within 30 minutes of arrival. From there it was a mixed affair, starting at X-ray (nobody would help give directions - had to find it by chance), then back to A&E to have my arm put in a cast, then back to X-ray again. Overall this took me from 10.30am to 3.30pm. I had two checkups at the fracture clinic, then on the third appointment about 5 weeks later the cast came off. No physiotherapy offered. Told I would be driving next day and everything would be back to normal. The doctor just looked at the computer screen and didn't even examine my arm. If they did, they would have noticed the odd angle my elbow now juts out from my waist. Now, I do not know what to do. Is this normal? Should I be seeking further medical help before I pay out a fortune on private physio? My arm still aches a month on from being discharged. I have not found any medical information online that answers these questions.
